Automotive security control device requires fingerprint authentication
China (mainland) – China Poly Co. Ltd has released the Plug and Play, an automotive security control device that requires fingerprint authentication for vehicle ignition, fuel pump and motor starter operation. The model supports up to nine users and classifies fingerprints into three categories.
The automotive security control device allows the user to add or delete fingerprints and access system management via password. It supports alarm setting and resetting for antitheft and antijacking purpose.
The unit sets off an alarm for fatigue driving prevention. Optional features include recording of the events in the last 10 days and total access time of the vehicle, which ranges from zero to 24 hours.
